AIF Helping Advisors Become Better Practitioners
January 21, 2015A survey of AIF & AIFA Designees, conducted by fi360, highlights the benefits advisors have received as a result of being trained on fiduciary processes and receiving the AIF or AIFA Designation. A majority of those surveyed credit the training with helping them become better practitioners.
Some highlights of the survey include:
- 71% reported that their education around the fiduciary standard has helped them become better practitioners
- 48% said it created a greater sense of trustworthiness with clients
- 31% said it enhanced their reputations
- 60% said their AUM or AUA increased "significantly" or "somewhat" within a year after receiving the AIF or AIFA designation
