Who We Are

Sara Houk is the vice president and senior legal counsel at Fi360, overseeing intellectual property, corporate governance, commercial contracts and other legal matters.

Sara has over 20 years of experience in the technology and finance industries.  Before joining Fi360, Sara worked as a senior counsel for PNC Bank, National Association in its Technology and Intellectual Property group.  Prior to that, Sara was a senior associate in the Outsourcing and Commercial Transactions and Intellectual Property groups at K&L Gates LLP, where a significant portion of her practice involved representing fintech vendors and customers in the financial and other highly regulated industries.  Sara also worked as a business analyst for American Management Systems (now CGI Inc.), where she designed and tested software systems for various state government agencies.

Sara earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was the lead executive editor of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif and won the ABA-BNA Intellectual Property Award.  Sara also has a M.S. in Public Policy and Management, with highest distinction, from Carnegie Mellon University with a focus on Information Technology and Policy Analysis and a B.A., with high distinction, in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University – Bloomington.
